Have your dessert and make it a healthy one!

It’s always nice to end your meal with something tasty and sweet to shut down your appetite.

You’ll be thrilled to know that we’ve compiled a few of our favorite healthy dessert recipes for you below, which you can use to not only satisfy your sugar cravings, but also boost your immunity.

Thanks to these tasty treats, you’ll be healthier than ever and loving your meals!

Immune Boosting Fro-Yo

Who doesn’t love a tasty frozen yoghurt dessert?

Fro-Yo is one of the best treats on the planet, as it’s got just the right balance between sweetness and acidity to make it satisfying without it becoming cloying. Mix in some fresh fruits, and you’ve got yourself one heck of a tasty treat that you can enjoy anytime, anywhere!

But by adding in some nuts, you give yourself both an additional textural layer and a high dose of immune-boosting zinc. You’ll find this dessert is both utterly enjoyable and spectacular for raising your body’s natural defenses.

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 cup of Greek yoghurt

  • 1 cup of mixed berries (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.)

  • 1 handful of mint leaves

  • 1/2 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds

  • ½ tablespoon of flax seeds

Put the yoghurt and berries into the food processor or blender, along with a splash of milk for added liquid. Pulse a few times until the berries are slightly crushed or beginning to be cut apart and mixing with the yoghurt.

Scoop the mixture into a cup, and stir in the pumpkin seeds and flax seeds. Put the mixture into the freezer until it is nearly hard, then serve with a few mint leaves for garnish.

Citrus Smoothie

Sometimes, you don’t have time to sit for a dessert, but a nice smoothie will be the perfect option to close down your appetite with something sweet and easy to drink. That’s exactly what we’re bringing to the table with this sweet recipe.

The smoothie combines two of your favorite citrus fruits—oranges and lemon juice—to create a tart and sweet flavor base that you’re guaranteed to love. Best of all, these two citrus fruits alone are packed with Vitamin C, which will give your body a major immune boost.

But we’re not done yet! We’re also mixing in a bit of banana to thicken it up and make it feel creamy, some spinach to give you even more immune-boosting nutrient, and a hint of turmeric for color and metabolism-boosting effects. By the time you finish this smoothie, you’ll feel like a million bucks!

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice

  • ¼ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 1 frozen banana

  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric

  • 1 cup of frozen spinach

  • Optional: chia seeds (for a thicker, more pudding-like consistency)

Mix all of the ingredients in the blender along with a bit of ice, and drink chilled to enjoy.

Immune-Boosting Chocolate Pudding

This chocolate pudding is rich, thick, creamy, and absolutely delicious, but it’s also surprisingly low in calories. Made with tofu instead of milk, it’s got that pudding-like consistency you love but without add the added fat and sugar from dairy.

To maximize the chocolate flavor, you’re going to add in a scoop of our Pure Immunity supplement. The supplement is formulated specifically to boost your immune system, so it contains high-quality ingredients that provide your body those critical nutrients it needs to keep protecting itself from invading pathogens. Best of all, we’ve packed in a rich chocolate flavor and just enough sweetness (from natural sources) that you’ll love every bite.

And, to finish it off, we’re including just a few berries to really give you that Vitamin C punch that not only makes the dessert delicious, but majorly nutritious as well!

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 150 grams of soft, silky tofu

  • 1 scoop of Pure Immunity powder

  • 1 tablespoon of cacao powder (or cacao nibs)

  • 2 tablespoons of coconut cream (for added creaminess)

  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup

  • 1 handful of berries (raspberries and blueberries are ideal)

To begin, mix the tofu, superfood powder, cacao powder or nibs, coconut cream, and maple syrup in a blender, and blend until creamy and smooth.

Pour the mixture into a cup, add in a few berries, mix gently to combine, then store in the fridge for two hours to thicken up. Once it’s ready, prepare to have your taste buds blown away!
